Retrospective documentary on the making of The Karate Kid (1984).

Staying in Okinawa for a bit after Chozen's defeat, Mr. Miyagi and Daniel LaRousso are alerted by the temple girl, Taki, to the theft of a small magic Chinese shrine talisman by persons unknown. Together, the trio pursue the shrine around the world to return it to its rightful place. However, that quest will not be easy as numerous villains are determined to exploit the shrine for their own ends and it will take all of our heroes skill and daring to thwart them.

In a small village in the Chodsko region, people live with daily worries about making a living. Many are dependent on work on the estate. Only the priest Jiří is able to stand up against the undignified conditions here, but he receives no gratitude, because the steward turns the villagers against him. Staněk, an engineer whose son Ondřej is studying at a grammar school, also works on the estate. The boy would like to continue studying law in Prague and is very surprised by his mother's wish for him to become a priest. His mother relies on the priest to talk Ondřej out of it. However, Jiří was once in the same situation, so he knows how difficult it is to perform well a mission that one has not chosen for oneself...

Silk, a former safecracker who`s gone straight, is framed by Moose McKay, a wealthy society man who is actually the head of a criminal gang, and sent to jail. While there he meets and falls for Alma, a society girl who is also being pursued by McKay. When Silk gets out of jail he attempts to prove his innocence but McKay continually blocks his efforts. Eventually he is forced to join McKay`s gang in order to make a living. Complications ensue.
